Here my two cents as an implementator. The whole discussion seems to
go nowhere. Suggesting a predefined mechanism for distpatching that
all libGL implementations should use is simply not acceptable. 

For the shake of moving on, I'd really urge everybody to agree on the
context dependant pointers returned by glXGetProcAddressEXT(). If an
implementation chooses not to return a context dependant pointer and
uses some kind of internal dispatch, then nothing breaks. On the other
hand, if an implementation uses a context dependant pointer then may
it be so.
