Among other things, I bring up the problem of defining a physical attack (what
attack do berserked enemies use?) and what attacks a confused hero is allowed
to use (should a confused hero be able to waste items?  Should he behave
'intelligently'?  How so?).

Most importantly, if a reflect affliction is considered, I believe there should
be general bitsets to let the author decide:
whether attacks reflect back to caster or to opposite team;
what happens to area attacks when reflected;
whether self-targetting attacks reflect;
what happens if an attack is caught between two reflectors

Everyone seems to think of these things in terms of Final Fantasy, where
attacks on your own team are reflected toward the enemies.  I cannot condone
such behavior, as it seems to me most logical to have all reflected attacks
target the caster.
