I definitely remember writing a script to make the cactus spin as it 
jumped off the mountain. I have no memory of removing it...

It is entirely possible that the cactus is moving around the game under 
its own power >:)

Actually though, IIRC, only one cactus script includes a "suspend 
player" command. The rest are theoretically missable if you walk away 
from it after triggering it.
