Yeah, I guess I have no big problem with that. If there are any problems 
with doing that, I can't think of them right now.

I guess documenting the fact that they don't persist and expecting 
people to re-set them in loadgame scripts is not unreasonable, but 
lacking a good reason to force that restriction, *shrug*
