I test on a xp 32bit, and win7 64bit, and I can't replicate the behavior. I'll need more info. Is the app in fullscreen when making the switch? What kind of graphics? What kind of window is being switched to? Is it consistently reproducible? I can test on vista 32bit. Do you have the latest drivers? Is it desktop or laptop? Is the OS up to date? Both windows had periods of focus and inactivity. Neither exhibited slow down.
