I'm having trouble with dtrace on one system. the following message every
time I try to use it.:
dtrace: failed to compile script ./fcwho.d: "/usr/lib/dtrace/ip.d", line
149: failed to copy type of 'ipv4_hdr': Conflicting type is already defined
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg04087.html
lead me to try to append .orig to
/usr/lib/dtrace/ip.d
/usr/lib/dtrace/tcp.d
/usr/lib/dtrace/udp.d
and it works again, although I think the breaks dtraces against the network
stack(I haven't tested this)?
I'm not sure why but this only appears to be affecting one machine 1 out of
12 running oi_151a. If anyone has a clue as to what might have changed to
cause this to be an issue, I'd like to know. Is this something I've done
wrong (how to I undo it) or is this something that can crop up (in which
case a maybe I can come up with a patch for it?)
Thanks,
Andrew Hettinger
