Seems like Opensolaris brand provisions are still enabled and can not be
bring down and that User group is also about Oralce products and those
based on illumos, that are free software.
Actually if Opensolaris governing board haven't decide to dismantle
Opensolaris distribution, it would continue to live.
It stays it is true that Opensolaris brand is owned by Oracle and that
it is clever to have your own name, but when you have Opensolaris type
of regional organisation,
it is also obvious that it is also about illumos based distributions and
Oracle products.
It would be nice to have also illumos or Openindiana type of user group
branding, but Opensolaris in a name for a group is all people have been
using still.
