BTW, the old DRM radeon driver which was dropped - is it the 'radeon' that was loaded by X.org - where this spring for the first time i had a non-plainold-vesa support for my APU (CPU+GPU chip)? Or is it another stack of bits that call themselves drivers? ;)
We speak about drm radeon driver, not xf86-video-ati. This Xorg driver provide 2d support. But for 3d acceleration kernel drm driver is needed (or software acceleration (swrast) is used).
Kernel part was removed. --- System Administrator of Southern Federal University Computer Center _______________________________________________ oi-dev mailing list [email protected] https://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/oi-dev
