I have a dual display and it did not split when I tested it. But I can't swear that it will be fine for all 2-monitor configurations. On the other hand, I couldn't make any guarantees about the old way, either.
I'm somewhat tempted not to integrate that part of the patch, since the window placement was not something that anybody had complained about before, so to me it only represents a possible future bug without an obvious improvement. But I thought I'd check to see if maybe people didn't like the old behavior but never bothered to say anything about it. -- lg On Mar 30, 2012, at 4:35 PM, Stephen Parker wrote: I vote for leave it up to the window system. Anybody want to weigh in on whether this is a good or bad idea? I think the current behavior is just to leave it up to the window system. -- Larry Gritz [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>
