Ok, and what do we do now about --contrast 1.5,1.5,1.5,1,1? Here is one option:
1. If there is just one value then apply contrast to all channels with that value. 2. If there are more values then apply the first value to the first channel, second value to second channel, and so on. If there are more channels than values then assume 1 for the ones not specified. If there are more values than channels then fail.
