You can.
build the website and (I just do "ant release" and copy db-ojb-1.0.2-website.tgz up to minotaur)
make an ojb directory in your home dir
untar the website tarball into the ojb dir
go to /www/db.apache.org
mv the existing ojb directory to a backup, and your new one to where it was:
mv ojb ojb.backup; mv ~/ojb .
Give the db group write access to it so others can make changes as well =)
chown -R :db ojb
chmod -R g+w ojb
I have the full set of notes for making a release written, I will clean them up and stick them in CVS

Thanks!
I also have updated the odmg-guide.xml and odmg-tutorial.xml is it possible to update these sites too? Is it possible that I update these sites by myself? How can I do this?
Have a nice day, Armin

hi brian,
thanks for building the release.
there's a little problem with the download link of the website. it still points to 1.0.1
http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/db/ojb/db-ojb-1.0.1/
I would recommend to change the link in site.xml point to the common OJB directory (then we never has to change this link for future releases)
http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/db/ojb/
instead of the latest release.
Changed this in CVS with latest documentation update.
Is it possible to update the documentation (or single html-sites)?

Hi Brian,
found an critical release issue, it seems that you set the label on a not fully refreshed version of OJB_1_0_RELEASE branch!!
For example ...documentation/content/xdocs/site.xml version 1.3.2.8 from 03/09 is labeled as 1.0.2, but the actual version is 1.3.2.10 from 03/24.
Same problem is in the tutorials. Last changes I made are from 03/24 so if you label it today all these files should be included.
Is it possible to remove the label and to rebuild the release?
sorry & regards, Armin

I pushed 1.0.2 to minotaur, but cannot see it. I am not sure what is serving the web stuff up now, but it isn't minotaur anymore. Right now http://db.apache.org/ojb.1_0_2/ should be moved to http://db.apache.org/ojb/ except not knowing what is up, I don't want to break anything.
Same goes for the tarballs etc.
If the various stuff shows up correctly tomorrow I'll go ahead and move the directory and make announcements, otherwise will ping infra to figure out what has changed.
Regardless, you can build your own right now from the OJB_1_0_2 tag in CVS =)
