I agree, that's far from beeing trivial! But the good news:
the *real* work, (i.e. instance lifecycle management, object level
transactions, O/R mapping) is mostly done.

I think from the user perspective the change should be almost unperceptible.
You'll simply have to use a different ManagerFactory class...
