Hi Daniel, I think this already looks pretty good and I've added some comments and amendments. Main thoughts:
* Should emphasize it is *not* an academic conference (though we do have an academic stream). So things like 'camera-ready' papers are completely optional * Been quite a lot of editing of 'topics' section and I've added suggestion of listing some dedicated sessions on particular areas. We'll need to pull this together. * Are we not using 'google form' for submission? (Seems there is now link to easychair) Rufus On 4 February 2011 12:21, Daniel Dietrich <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear all, > > we are working on finalising the CFP and an announce text for OKCon 2011 > > The work in progress can be found here: > > http://okcon.okfnpad.org/2011 > > Please not that this is a draft version. > > Your ideas, comments and amendments are very welcome! > > Kind regards > Daniel > > > > > > > -- > Daniel Dietrich > > The Open Knowledge Foundation > Promoting Open Knowledge in a Digital Age > www.okfn.org - blog.okfn.org > > Project Coordinator of the Open Definition > www.opendefinition.org > > Coordinator of the Working Groups: > - Open Government Data > - Open Data in the EU > > Open Knowledge Foundation Germany > Erkelenzdamm 59-61 > D-10999 Berlin > http://goo.gl/maps/TaC6 > > Web: www.okfn.de > Mail: [email protected] > Mobil: +49 171 780 870 3 > > > _______________________________________________ > okfn-discuss mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.okfn.org/mailman/listinfo/okfn-discuss > -- Co-Founder, Open Knowledge Foundation Promoting Open Knowledge in a Digital Age http://www.okfn.org/ - http://blog.okfn.org/ _______________________________________________ okfn-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.okfn.org/mailman/listinfo/okfn-discuss
