I'm in the process of training a spam classifier for OpenLibrary and other volunteers have looked at the issue as well. If you're interested in helping, you might want to join the ol-tech mailing list. Since OpenLibrary is funded at a level of less than one full time person, basically the only stuff that gets done is by volunteers. Tom
