Hello,

this week the hbz has released 4.896.515 bibliographic records as
Linked Data under a CC-0 license. We used the Bibliographic Ontology
to represent the data in RDF and set links to the German National
Library's authority files. For more information see the
announcement[1] and the documentation[2].

The RDF representation of OL records gave us some orientation for the
data conversion. Thus, the output is similar to OL RDf data so it
might be of interest for the Open Library. I wonder whether OL could
consume this Open Data without great effort, it is by all means better
to consume than our first open data exports[3].

We would be very happy to see these records reused in an environment
like the Open Library.

Cheers
Adrian
