I am consulting the IA/OL both for covers, and to determine full text hits. This shows up in my link resolver and in my catalog item detail pages, when a full text match can be found in IA for the item in consideration.
However, I'm not actually using the OL API to find full text, I'm using the atom results of the IA 'advanced search', because I wrote it before the OL API works, it works, and it finds more full text from IA than is actually included in OL. Hmm, and I guess I'm not actually using covers at present. I am using the LibraryThing CoverThing API for covers, which I think is many of the same covers as IA/OL, but I'm not sure the relationship between them.
