Putting it back on the listserv in case others are interested, hope you
don't mind. George asked for examples of my use.

Sure. It takes me a bit of time to find some, because honestly it's a
minority of our catalog where I succesfully find matches in IA. And
since it's just doing author/title matching, sometimes it's a false
positive, so I need to find good matches for examples.

Okay, here you go (our newly released public beta of a new catalog made
it easier for me to find these, hooray). Again though, for various
reasons this isn't actually using the OL API, it's using the IA advanced
search atom results. The results are loaded in (from multiple sources
including IA) via JS, you have to wait a moment for them to come in.

In the link resolver:

In the catalog:

https://catalog.library.jhu.edu/bib/32324

In our (just released) public beta demo of a new catalog:

Note in the first example of "Shock at the front", I provide 'search
inside' forms to Google Book Search and HathiTrust. (I also check Amazon
and provide 'search inside' form to there where available). I'd like to
be doing the same thing for IA, but last I looked into it there was no
easy way to provide a predictable deep-link into 'search inside' results
for a known IA title, that actually worked well.

And definitely interested to hear any suggestions you have for improving
the way I interface with IA, if you see anything that could be
different, from what you can see in the UI.
