Dear OL Community, We have been working on Blib, which is an online private digital library where you can add PDF files of your favorite books to create a library of your own. Webpage: https://register.blib.us Blib lets you read, search and share your books, privately and securely, from anywhere in the world. The Blib platform gives you the option to own the cloud and all of the data within it. Currently our system runs on the web, but in the near future, you would be able to order your own Blib hardware from us, and plug it anywhere in the world (and seamlessly keep your Blib working - while your data sits physically at the place of your choice). Blib aims to encrypt every bit of information that leaves your platform. We are currently in pre-alpha, and would love to hear from you. Blib's metadata acquisition is powered by open library, and we are very thankful to the OL project for making available the public API that Blib uses. Please check us out, and all criticism, comments, are more than welcome. We are currently open for registration, and we currently use OpenID from Google for identification.
