Dear "Blib Team", I just forwarded your email to the ol-tech mailing list, but would like to ask: who are you? What is your privacy policy (i.e. where can I read it?) and where are you based?
I disagree that you can "own the cloud", as having a device sit somewhere is no different than me leaving my computer on and connected. Storing files on your servers is more like putting things in the cloud, but you're not saying I can own your servers, are you? ;) Would you also support EPUB files? I don't have PDF books. I do have a lot of other PDFs, but they are not books and aren't catalogued in Open Library (even though some people do list articles as books). Thanks for your reply!
