A bit about Richmond...

The Internet Archive has a book storage and scanning depot in Richmond, 
California, just across the San Francisco Bay from where the Archive is 
located. Anand just made it possible for those scanned books to be 
borrowed in the same way library books are.

I agree that the name isn't self-explanatory.
