You didn't miss the warning because there was none. This limitation in Oracle's JDK was only lifted in July, so you need a very recent version of Java 8 to get things working I suspect. http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7044060 Please do report back whether or not this fixes things.
