I'm not sure what I am looking for there. Do you no longer have
privileges to edit those pages?

Agreed. The change (or decision if that is what it was) was either
before my time or an error.

Porting everything over to a github wiki would be great but definitely
not something I can do with time available. So if this is something
that someone else would like to take on, we could definitely make the
switch. For now I'll concentrate on collating what is there and making
sure we don't have orphan pages.
