Roy: The OEM optional brake boosters are hard to find, but they are are out there. I think it makes more sense to upgrade to modern front disc brakes. As I understand it, there is not room for the power dual MC with the original transmission in place. (Auto trans must be smaller?) You might be able to to it using a MC that has a "remote" reseviour. (The hot rod guys know about these -- Wilwood, etc). I'm planning on using a non-power dual MC with front discs/rear drums. This would be '67 Mustang or similar MC with mid 80's Camaro calipers and 6 lug rotors from CPP (and others).

It seems that a 7" brake booster was an option. Sounds like something I might want. Anybody know anything about it? Secondly, I tried to buy one of those dual chambered power brake systems some vendors offer but was told that you need an automatic transmission to use it. I find that very hard to believe but I find it just as hard to believe the salesman would think that were true if it wasn't. Anybody have any experience with these kits? > > Thanks, > Roy Ole Chevy and GMC trucks rule! To unsubscribe, send an email (with no subject, no body, just the email), to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo!
