As I continue to work on making the old girl ( '58 3100 )road worthy
after being parked for a number of years I moved onto the brakes last
night. Spent an hour or so with my 15 yr old daughter who can't wait
to get behind the wheel bleading the air out of the brakes. When
this was done I hopped back up into the cab with her and gave the old
pedal a push. I noticed that after they engaged the pedal continued
to slowly sink to the floor. I am thinking master cyclinder. I know
it could be a leak somewhere but I havn't notice any loss of fluid in
the MC. Does a MC rebuild sound right to everyone? Also I have been
looking at past postings and see alot of talk about Huck and Bendix
brakes and how to adjust them at each wheel. How do I identify what
type I have so I follow the correct procedure.

The temp is going to be in the 50's this weekend so working outside
should be great. Any ideas we can get would be great.

Thanks
