This past New Year's Eve, I was out and about in the Cutlass.  I had left the
DMV (where I learned that I don't have to take it in for an odometer check
anymore) and was headed to Costco when a bimbo in a Nissan Altima (IIRC) tried
to cut me off.  She ended up sideswiping me.

Her car had the right rear quarter caved in.  That'll cost a fair chunk of
change to make right...at least several hundred, if not into 4-digit territory.

My car had some paint scuffing, with some of the other car's paint adhered to
it in places.  A $16 clay bar and a couple hours of elbow grease cleaned it up.

(After following up with some polish, the previously scuffed area had a fair
bit more shine to it than the rest of the paint.  I think I'll have to go over
the rest of the car with the clay bar at some point. :-) )
