This past New Year's Eve, I was out and about in the Cutlass. I had left the DMV (where I learned that I don't have to take it in for an odometer check anymore) and was headed to Costco when a bimbo in a Nissan Altima (IIRC) tried to cut me off. She ended up sideswiping me. Her car had the right rear quarter caved in. That'll cost a fair chunk of change to make right...at least several hundred, if not into 4-digit territory. My car had some paint scuffing, with some of the other car's paint adhered to it in places. A $16 clay bar and a couple hours of elbow grease cleaned it up. (After following up with some polish, the previously scuffed area had a fair bit more shine to it than the rest of the paint. I think I'll have to go over the rest of the car with the clay bar at some point. :-) ) _/_ Scott Alfter / v \ '77 Cutlass Supreme Brougham & '04 Alero GL (IIGS( http://alfter.us/ Top-posting! \_^_/ rm -rf /bin/laden >What's the most annoying thing on Usenet?
