I have recolored many dash and door panel items with great results. If done
correcly it can withstand a beating. I have also recolored steering wheels
on manual steering cars and the recoloring lasts for years.
What needs to be done is to make sure your part hat you are recoloring is
CLEAN and then use the correct primer before you apply the color.I use some
clear primer mde do prime plastic parts and it has always held the color
great.
