Well, if Craig Jackson is smart enough to recognize that there are enough
crazy people out there to pay him the kind of money that he is raking in,
more power to him.
What I can't understand is how he finds so many excessively rich people
who all look like they just came off their shift at the dry cleaner's shop
(no offense to any dry cleaners in the audience). I know some wealthy
people and most of them dress well, act with some kind of class, and seem
nothing like the ones at his auctions. That "Alan" clown with the red
Ferrari cap who always shows up at these things wouldn't get past their
front door.

Ah, but you see, Hemmings isn't Hemmings any more. The company was sold a
couple of years ago and they installed a new editorial bunch. They now
cater to more of a mass audience than they used to, but unfortunately they
are now caught up in the hype. I subscribe to Hemmings Classic Car, the
successor to what used to be Special Interest Auto, and while it is now
much prettier-looking and full of color shots, their articles are
painfully superficial and their columnist are absolutely clueless. BTW,
this month they ran an article on a '71 Vista Cruiser in Az and they
managed to find one with a 350-2bbl and rust. In Arizona. And it tells you
absolutely nothing useful about Vistas.
