The point he is making is thaqt an NOS part IS NOT allways perfect. For
example, I have an NOS bumper (bought from Fusick many years ago) for my
1971 Delta 88, that has a scatch in it. NOS, yes, perfect, no.
Okay, I guess from a pristine "car show" perspective, you and he have a
point, in reference to contests and points awarded. I have a problem
identifying with that. I just want the car to look nice and run on the
street forever.
The EBAY seller in question is a nice guy, and I have done a lot of
business
with him and have allways been pleased.
Good, I'm very glad you said that, because he's got something I want to buy
and that one of my cars needs.
However, I still don't understand where he's coming from on the Olds-Chevy
pushrod issue. 1968 is way before GM started putting 350 Chevys in an Olds.
That happened in the mid to late '70s.
