NOS also means "never mounted on a car," and "here's the original box it
came in." It does not mean 100% perfect, but it does mean pretty close
to it. If it were faded, really scratched, or whatever, I would expect
additional information. The box is important to prove that it is not a
replica, and that it will indeed bolt on like it should.

There are regular ebay sellers ON THIS LIST who insist that
"OEM" means "I pulled it off a junk car."
My 2c on NOS - If it was manufactured by GM and came out of a GM box,
and would have been the same part mounted on a GM car on the assembly
line, it should be, by definition, show quality. Show Quality should
mean factory fresh, imperfections and all. "NOS does not always mean
100% PERFECT."

What is it with this guy? All of his auctions, identified by Chris
Witt, say
the same thing. NOS means only one thing: New Olds Stock, new GM parts in
the original GM box from the shelf of a GM dealer that were never sold
and
are left over from inventory at the GM dealer, PERIOD. NOS will be
original
GM parts, which will be show quality. What is this guy getting at?
