Or going back even further, the original Ford Bronco and International
Scout. They were rough, crude, but served the purpose. But apparently the
market doesn't want such things these days. I often wonder if someone were
to come out with a similar vehicle today but with vinyl seats instead of
leather, crank windows instead of power, no A/C, etc., and a
commeasureately lower pricetag, if it would sell.
