This guy's auctions are worded strange, very strange, with a mix of engine sizes and applications. Too strange for me.

Subject: 442 W30 with 425 engine? ebay #8063350423

Chris, thanks for the info! I'll go look for a drilled hole.
---------------------
OK, I sent photo of the drill spot:
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b172/Rocket_Science_442/4040_66-To-425_CN6.jpg
which your D block does not have.
So, it's a run of the mill 66 or maybe '67 non-Toro 425.

I know for a fact tho, that we actually removed this from a 442 W30 that my son bought!!
===============
That could happen, stuff gets changed over the years.

It was a one owner vehicle that had been in the fellows family since new.
=================
Then that one owner changed out the block, 'cause no W30, no 442, ever came from the factory with a 425 of ANY sort. Barring my April Fool's day stories, anyhow.

We restored the whole car, but put a cammed up 455 in it.
================
a step backwards, if you ask me, but, to each his own.

I don't believe he did anything to the engine/car in all that time. What do you think??? Don
=====================
Well, I reiterate- no 442 or W30 was ever issued by the factory with a 425.
No way to prove what was what now of course.

Glad to help ID your stuff and set the record straight. Hope you find the info useful.
