The engine that was removed was a 455.  that's what was ment by the post,
regardless cheap mounts are made incorrectly, and all my auto suppliers sell
the cheap India made ones

    I summarized Joe Padavano's old posts to this list re: motor mounts

helpful.

    You say you are putting a 455 "back" into a 69 Cutlass but a 69 
Cutlass should not have had a big block in it to start with so I'd 
_ass_u_me_ that you have the small block pads.  Ergo, you would want the 
small block motor mounts.
