I am currently converting my '68 442 to front disc brakes and was wondering if it would be worth it to use Dot5 fluid? I am replacing the master cylinder, calipers and wheel cylinders along with the three hoses and some of the lines. Since most everything is being replaced it shouldn't be too hard to clean out the rest of the lines. Would there be any advantage to doing this or would it be better to stick with Dot3? The car gets driven about 2,000 miles a year at the most. Thanks.

Stay with DOT3 or DOT4 and bleed the system to clean it out every few years. DOT5 is more often than not a headache.
