I'll add my .02 I was amazed to see that other than the steering wheel the interior was kept stock. They didn't even cut the dash or add a "custom console"for the stereo. Body modifications were minimal and consisted of filling in all the side markers (not a good idea in my opinion from a safety standpoint, not sure of the leaglity) and filling in keyholes. I agree that the 442 grilles look better than the '72 Supreme grilles, but I probably wouldn't have changed them. The paint job did nothing for me, the color combination with bittersweet wheels is ugly IMHO. Obviously the engine swap was a mistake. However as was pointed out, the parts used (including the engines) are provided gratis. Overall I was impressed with Chips restraint as he usually overcustomizes to my taste. That said, there's not really much difference between customizing a '72 Cutlass or turning a '32 Ford into a hot rod (with a Chubby 350 of course) as I'm sure there are Ford purists that cringe about that. -- Kurt Heinrich OCA# 30442 71 Cutlass Supreme SX Convertible
