No, actually the trunk is one of the easist ones to replace. There is a
metal lip or ridge that is about 3/4" tall that the trunk w/s just pushes
over. On mine there was a little adhesive, but not much -- it just peeled
right off. The replacement w/s was a little different style than the
super-soft original; the replacement was slightly harder rubber as opposed
to foamy rubber and had some little ridges in it, but worked fine.
