List,
I had sent a message to the seller for 130008924989 . I did not like his
reply. Actually, his reply indicated to me he fully intended to defraud
whoever bought his car. So, I filed the following complaint with eBay
security. His auction has 16 hours to go. It'll be interesting to see what
happens.

The following is a dialog I have had with the seller. I believe the seller
is being untruthful to the potential buyers. Please read my questions and
the response:
My first question = Wait a minute. You are selling an Olds. It should have
an Olds 455, but you have a Buick 455 in there. I can tell by the valve
covers and the front mounted distributor. That's just not right.
Seller's response = Yes it is. It states in the auction its a GM 455.
My response = Stating it's a GM 455 isn't good enough. GM is generic. Buick
is specific. I thought about your car for a few minutes until I saw the
Buick engine. If I'm going to buy an Olds, it had better have an Olds engine
in it, or there will be Hell to pay!
eBay, if someone buys this Olds, pays for it, gets it home, and then
discovers it has a Buick engine in it instead of an Olds engine, what is
eBay going to do about it if the buyer hits the roof and complains? The way
I see it, the buyer could file a complaint directly with the FBI for
interstate internet fraud. He would have a case.
