Can you use small block exhaust manifolds on a big block? I want to swap
out the 350 in my Vista this weekend for a 1976 455 I have sitting in the
garage. I don't have the manifolds from the 455 but was wondering if I
could just leave the small block manifolds bolted to the exhaust and use
them on the new motor. Thanks for any help.

They put small block manifolds (1, 4) on big block cars when single exhaust
was used. You can probably block off the crossover passage and go with
duals, as dual exhaust was an option on the Vista as well. You won't get the
optimum performance out of the small block manifolds, but I doubt that the
difference wouldbe much anyway. Good luck, hope this helps.
