I bet that door has been replaced and painted by Maaco :( Must have
been years ago too because the rust on the door matches the rust on the
rest of the car. :(
The stripe does _not_ run into the fender trim so I ass_ume it is
correct.

although it had both when I purchased it in '82. Hmmmp, I guess someone
added them just like I added the tilt column and remote mirror :) Both
include the infamous Z49.
Does anyone know what Z49 included? Block heater? Snow scraper?

The seller states "There were 146 Club Coupes built in Canada for
the 68 year. All had Z49 code manditory Canadian option. All had 4 wheel
drum (disc were still illegal in Canada in 68)." Does anyone know
anything about the illegality of disc brakes in Canada in 68? My car
came with discs in 69. Sounds like a sub-arctic urban legend to me :)
