(I just had to do a 'Chris Witt' style subject, sorry.)
I have this 67 Cutlass, and it has a big hole where a radio should be. I am looking for a working FM radio that will fit there and be, if not correct, almost correct. What I mean is, if it will fit and work and fool all but the most knowledgeable of Olds nuts, it is fine by me.
In addition to trying to solicit a sale here, I would like advice on just what people know about sizes and compatibility about big car radios into Cutlasses, and 68-72 radios being put into a 67. If there were a stereo unit available from a 69 through 71, and I could find a place to stick the second piece and make it work, I'd think the odd stereo coming from one in the dash and one in the package tray would be kind of neat, personally. I'd even take a wonderbar radio...even though I am pretty sure that never went in a cutlass, provided it works.
Car is not a show car at the moment, but all it really lacks is a good paint job and some odds and ends. It could certainly do the weekend cruise in. So, a mint radio is not necessary, merely 'decent looking' and working is what I am looking for.
Thanks, John.
