I've been installing all the components for my power disc brake conversion on my '69 Cutlass S and noticed that after installation, my master cylinder
and power brake booster are no longer horizontal, but instead point upward
somewhat. I looked in the Assembly Manual and at photos on 442.com and
found that this is the way it is supposed to be. Does anyone know why this
is?

John,

The power brake booster and/or the master cylinder on my 2 '64 and 2 '65 A-bodies point upward at about a 10 degree angle as designed originally. Are you sure you didn't miss that when you started the conversion? I believe it's designed that way due to the pivot angle for the brake pedal linkage when one is sitting in the driver's seat in relation to the geometry of one's leg.
