Thanks for the reply, Milton, Prior to this conversion, I had manual drum brakes. If the master cylinder was pointed upward before it was quite slight. There is a bracket between the firewall and the brake booster that creates the new angle.

John, The power brake booster and/or the master cylinder on my 2 '64 and 2 '65 A-bodies point upward at about a 10 degree angle as designed originally. Are you sure you didn't miss that when you started the conversion? I believe it's designed that way due to the pivot angle for the brake pedal linkage when one is sitting in the driver's seat in relation to the geometry of one's leg.
