Precisely! The manufacturers are under pressure from the EPA for those extended warranties, and the OEMs want the oil people to cover their backsides with the EPA! Other articles state the cat converter issues, including the Hot Rod magazine article. It all devolves down to the bureaucraps at the EPA. (And that's not misspelled!)
