You can use your old case, but you need the newer pan, pickup tube, and a mounting bolt to upgrade a heelprint trans to the newer filter. The bolt is supposed to go into a hole drilled in the valve body (in EXACTLY the right place), but I've seen pictures of a bracket using the old bolts.
