I remember your posting about the demo of the Olds admin building being
underway. Here's a really dumb question: any chance of snagging a few
bricks or other similarly-sized pieces for a momento? I'd be looking at
getting a couple of them and making them into some kind of display with a
plaque. With you being our man in Lansing I thought this might be up your
alley.
Let me know your thoughts...

Monday a week or two ago there was a 1-shot deal to go in and get bricks
from some of the buiildings, I sent the list that note.
I could not assist, I was otherwise engaged.
Dr. Oldmobile [no "S"] was able to obtain a few hundred bricks.
Plans are in the works to make a display and certificate of authenticity, or
such, with the aid of Jim Walkinshaw if at all possible, maybe even a signed
few.

Final design and pricing and whatnot is up to him.
I see MSU selling bricks from Sparty's old statue or whaterver for up to
$100 with fancy display.
I have MUCH titanium rod that might make a nifty and indestructible and
stainless display stand.
Simple bent form, inserted into holes in backside of brick?
These bricks so far are not from the bldg 70 the white castle.
I reckon that bldg is more modern steel and concrete.
STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS to help get the LETTERING off the bldg.
Anyone in cosntruction, got a crane?

Rocky is nearing the end of his life and I cannot do muc if any Rocket
Science any more.
