Joe,

It's much easier to answer your questions verbally.  Seller may be hunt 
and peck typer, have a dozen emails asking different questions, or be less 
than computer saavy, or far from a car guy.  The questions' answers could 
be complicated, too.

The dealer should have emailed a reply.

Granted, selling a car is work.

I hate making excuses for customer service, though.
