I believe some people are not comfortable writing emails so they put
the absolute minimum effort into them and ask that you call them.
Now you may be like me in that you like to organize your ideas and
have documented responses so this is a PITA (this has nothing to do with
the treatment of animals).
I'm fairly sure that they didn't see my name and say "Hey, you know,
