another great thing to do if you don't want your XO is to give it to a local university chapter [http://wiki.laptop.org/go/University_program] or push it into the developer's program [http://wiki.laptop.org/go/developer]. this will help get XOs to people who are doing development, which is good for developers, who often have reason to test things on an actual machine, and people at OLPC, who are really busy but want developers to have test machines.
