Fedora on the XO has an ordinary Linux filesystem. In terminal, yum install mc Midnight Commander is based on the old Norton Commander file browser from DOS, but includes a whole lot of Linux functionality like being able to change file owners and permissions in a character-based dialog box. Very lightweight. I recommend configuring "Lynx-like cursor" controls for directory navigation. -- Edward Cherlin End Poverty at a Profit by teaching children business http://www.EarthTreasury.org/ "The best way to predict the future is to invent it."--Alan Kay _______________________________________________ Olpc-open mailing list [email protected] http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/olpc-open
