Hello Tom,
I originally tried it on FC 4, and now I am running it on FC 5 without any real problem. There are some general issues with the files though, whether you use FC 4 or FC 5.
1) As far as I remember, you have to manually copy some of the conf files to the /etc directory. The files being yum.conf and install.conf.
2) You need to install the perl-Text-Template package to get the perl Template libraries, they are required and not usually in a base install.
3) If you want the jffs2 image, you need to go and get a version of mkfs.jffs2. I forget which version the script is for, but I went and got the cvs version and it appears to be "too new".
4) The last issue is with the olpc repository, sometimes it is a bad dog and doesn't fetch files and times out. The script files don't handle this condition that well.
