possible to upgrade the System with the CD/DVD and not only extracting
an finish configuring system where damage all configurations on the
Computer/System ..
It is no wonder to it is possible upgrate with urpmi the system via RPM,
because was ever still ever possible to upgrate the system with urpmi and
urpmi war integrated in the Drakinstaller, isn't so ? So, what's whant
not better
if we have an installer who make it possible for upgrade an System also
over the DVD
with just an installer where install RPM and not extract easy an
compressed installation ..
and flattens everything on the hard disk ... :\ you see..
so, we need an installer who installs rpm and not extract "easy" an
"defaultsystem"
it should .. we should have back an rpm-installer, this is make more
sense/meaningful
as use easy an plane squashfs-installer .. The squashinstaller make
sense for Tablets,
Devises where be good for ever install and fresh configuring, but, an
rpm/urpmi-installer
make sense for Upgrading over CD/DVD or installing via task-XXXX , where
need to build up an Server
or build up an Workstation or .. how ever, many different possibility ..
how ever, an rpm - related installer it's much more usable as an
"extract me and put/kick me on HDD" thing.

also for update with an DVD where be rpm's on it and not only an

So called original installer is broken, POK was working on it to somehow
revive it. If you want things to improve, then we need manpower. So in stead
of whining all the time, you are welcome to take a look on abf.io and
provide patches for that installer aswell.
Blaming all the time people around won't hep us and you to improve things.
Denis ofcourse is right, this is not Windows(tm) so if you need update to
re-install your system from CD-DVD.
